Simple DIY installation that’s made to last
Our silver mirror window film is self-adhesive and easy to install.
Window film is installed directly onto the glass, with no need to remove the glass or any gaskets.
Easy removal for rented properties – can be removed using soapy water and a glass scraper. Once removed, the glass will be as good as new but make sure to use a dedicated glass scraper with a fresh, sharp blade.

A first class product, straight forward to fit if you follow the instructions to the book. Looks good and certainly does the job as far as difusing the light. The Mirror Film is great for security, restricting anyone looking in but has the benifit of that you can see perfectly looking out. It also enhances the appearance of my conservatory from both inside and outside. All in all a class product which I would recomend to others.

I had purchased film from another company but it did not have the claimed reflective qualities. It was with hesitation and only a tiny hope in my mind that I ordered from Vision Window film, and to be on the safe side I ordered both Premium and Budget silver one-way film. I could not possibly be more delighted, and the cheaper budget film would have been perfectly adequate for the purpose. We have organised our garden to attract wildlife and we wanted to watch from the conservatory without being seen. It could not be better for the job – but there was a bonus! Although we have roof blinds it was still overpoweringly hot in the conservatory. Was! Now the conservatory is cool to sit in so we are so much more comfortable while watching the birds and frogs. These 2 OAPs are highly delighted.

I found it easier to cut the film slightly smaller than the windows, rather than try to trim it after application and any slight gap is unimportant unless someone outside is very close, which in my case is impossible, as the potential peepers are in houses in the next street. As a general guide, when you look out, what you see reflected back is what can be seen from outside. In bright outside conditions, this is very little or nothing, so you cannot be seen, but you can easily see outside. At night, the reflection is as good as a mirror, so you can be seen easily, so it’s time to close the blinds or curtains. It’s a good idea to cut a small strip off the roll to use for practicing, or try a small window first and keep small offcuts for practice on a larger window. After two windows, I found the whole procedure easy for the remainder. By the way, I use a permanent ink pin to draw the shape before cutting on a large table. If you use such ink, make sure you draw on the backing film side, otherwise your reflective film will show your workings! When using sticky tape to start to separate the films whilst still on the table, fold the tapes to stop them sticking together, with the backing film tape folded the most for identification. Take a bowl with you so you can drop wet things into it e.g. wipers, spray bottle. As a general point, assemble all the items before you start washing. You don’t want to be hunting for things with wet hands.

The one way silver mirror film is perfect for any house wanting privacy. I fitted it to the front of my house which faces a pretty walkway – people often wander along admiring the houses and would inadvertently look in. At first it seems a bit tricky and fiddly. Definately CLEAN the windows very well first. One tip – start with the least important window first. That way you get to practise and by the end – when you do the most prominent window (lounge) you will be applying it very easily. An excellent product! I could quite happily be a sales person for this company.

Great product. I was unsure when I first got it if I could apply it properly and if it would do a proper job but it was fairly easy to apply. I took my time with the first window but found it easier and quicker on the second, and it does wht it says…privacy all round. Second time I’ve purchased this film from Evowrap. As last time excellent product and service from this company. Last time I tried to use my own squeegee and the finish wasn’t 100%. This time I bought the very cheap hard card and rubber 6″ squeegee and it made the job so much easier. Take your time, and prep is the key. Clean, clean and clean again the windows before you start. This time I used a glass window scrape aswell to get rid of any old paint etc on the glass. Follow the instructions provided and you’ll have a professional looking product, if you can’t visualise the instructions I found some excellent videos on YouTube that show you the same process and some of the tricks of the trade!

Will it make my room to dark?

This depends on where the film is installed and the type of window film used. Installing mirror glass film does reduce the amount of sunlight that can penetrate the glass. The darker tint provided by this high reflective silver window film is what helps reduce the heat in the room and provide privacy. This can mean that the effect can feel quite dark in small rooms with a single window. But it is usually lighter than expected in a room with a lot of glass, such as a conservatory or office building. If the priority is to simply maintain light levels and not protect privacy, we recommend our medium and light window films which still offer some protection from heat and glare but don’t create a one-way vision effect.

Unfortunately to get a one way vision effect only the darker reflective films work and you wont be able to see the one way vision effect until all the windows in the room are done. The sample wont work as it needs one side of the window to be darker than the other side.
