Description
Ice white frosted window film provides 24-hour privacy without blocking the natural light. It doesn’t matter if it’s dark outside or if you have the lights on inside. It is not completely opaque. This means it will stop people seeing in but won’t make the room dark. White frosted window film is sticky backed with a thin polyester backing liner so no messy adhesives are needed.

Don’t forget to check the suitability before purchasing. Some films cannot be installed onto certain types of glazing.

Delighted with the product. Used a very weak solution of washing up liquid and water applied to sticky side, which allowed easy placement. Cutting service meant that I had the perfect size. Would certainly order again, next time a patterned film.

Very easy to apply though mine has a ripple running through it which you think will never lie flat but does eventually. Had to keep going back as it dried with the squegee.

I applied the coating to 2 glass panels for 2ndry glazing out of their frames using Baby shampoo for slip as recommended. A Stanley knife to cut the film and a hard rubber car window scraper to seal the film to the windows. They face inwards in our bathroom and look great. Proof of the pudding will be whether mould forms between the glass & the film over the next 10 years – about the time for that to develop on the old coverlon that had been used previously.

Good product and application is the same as all window films. Scrape the window, squeegee, a little slip and slap it on. Looks good and had comments from the window fitter asking where did I get the film from.

Quite happy with the product but the finish leaves marks, not bubbles. Also I can’t seem to get the corners to stick down. Perhaps it would be nice to have a simple installation instruction accompanying the product.

The cheapest I could find but not cheap enough to satisfy me. The delivery was fast and the instruction was clear. The cutting service was expensive so I did it myself. Also separating the two layers was difficult.

We can computer cut the film to size. We’re just in the process of adding this functionality to the site. I have just set this up for you. Simply click the cut to size option and then add the width and height of each window. If you have any problems please let me know.

Can you see outside?

No you won’t be able to see in or out with this frosted window film. If you wanted to still be able to see out then a one way vision window film will be the best choice. This will only give daytime privacy but allows you to see out whilst stopping people from seeing in.
