What primer is used with Cover Styl? Is it applied to entire surface or just edges? Thanks

We have two primers
https://www.evowrap.co.uk/product/cover-styl-primer is for porous surfaces such as porous woods like MDF. This is applied to the whole surface and you keep topping the layers up until it dries white so you know its stopped soaking in.
https://www.evowrap.co.uk/product/primer-plus is for none porous surfaces such as a laminated kitchen door. With this you just put a thin strip around the edges (around 25mm)
